In Part I: Mastering the New GFE you’ll get complete line-by-line instructions on using the new form, as well as exclusive insight into the reasoning behind YSP disclosure, the bundling of origination and title fees and the tolerance sections. Special emphasis will also be placed on filling out the top of page 2, page 3 and Blocks 3 and 6.

This GFE instruction and insight is perfect for:

  • Lenders
  • Mortgage Brokers/Loan Officers
  • Title Agents
  • Attorneys
  • Real Estate Agents
  • Regulators
  • Anyone else who needs to understand the form

This is the perfect opportunity to get comprehensive training on the new form from the country’s foremost RESPA experts and insiders.

Order today and you’ll learn:

  • All about the new tolerance section: not only where the various charges go, but also why they go there.
  • What circumstances allow for reissuance of the GFE.
  • Details about “Our Origination Charge” – including how to properly disclose yield spread premiums.
  • About the “Important Dates” section and issues surrounding the disclosure of the interest rate.

Here are just a few questions that you hear addressed:

  • When do changed circumstances allow for a new GFE?
  • Can you attach something to the GFE – such as an addendum explaining fees?
  • What should the lender and closing agent do if the 10-percent tolerance is violated?
  • What do the panelists recommend as far as using the tradeoff table? HUD mandates the first column be filled out but not the others.
  • Why the shopping chart? Does HUD really think the borrower is going to use this? What did the consumer testing show?
