The 2010 Title Insurance Financial Report provides a financial view of the calendar year 2010 and takes a look at what could be in store for 2011 and beyond.

This special report from the editors of The Title Report contains information about the fourth-quarter and year-end financial results of the four major underwriters in the title insurance segment — Fidelity National Financial, First American Financial, Old Republic International and Stewart Information Services. It features revealing charts and figures specifically detailing the performance of the title insurance group for each underwriter. The major themes of the 2010 results include: a boost in orders from a spike in refinance activity, gains in earnings due to expense reductions and a late push in fees-per-file because of an influx of commercial transactions.
