    Harry Gardner manages the Mortgage Bankers Association's eMortgage standards development efforts through the Mortgage Industry Standards Maintenance Organization (MISMO). The eMortgage workgroup, with more than 200 members and six subgroups, develops guidelines and technical specifications for fully electronic (paperless) mortgages.

    He also works closely with related industry groups including the Property Records Industry Association (PRIA) developing eRecording standards for eMortgages; the American Escrow Association (AEA); and the Standards and Procedures for Electronic Records and Signatures (SPeRS) organization. He has developed hardware and software technology solutions for more than 22 years and holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Virginia.

    Christopher W. Christensen

    PeirsonPatterson, LLP

    Christopher W. Christensen is an associate with PeirsonPatterson, LLP, concentrating his practice on regulatory and compliance issues related to residential real estate transaction documentation. His primary areas of focus include compliance rule implementation, multi-state form drafting projects, and residential mortgage lending eCommerce issues.

    Chris is a Vice Chair of the Mortgage Banker's Association Political Action Committee.  He is also a member of the Committee on Consumer Financial Services of the Business Law Section of the American Bar Association; the American Land Title Association Title Counsel and Closing Committees; the MBA ResTech 2007 eMortgage Adoption Task Force; and the Texas Bar.  Chris participates in the Mortgage Industry Standards Maintenance Organization (MISMO) where he co-chairs the eMortgage Legal Issues Subgroup.

    He received his bachelor's in business administration with a degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Texas at Austin, and a J.D. from Southern Methodist University School of Law. Chris completed the Mortgage Bankers Association of America Future Leader Program in 2003.  Chris has spoken on financial privacy regulation, RESPA, and eMortgages, and has co-authored a paper on the Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac Uniform Instruments. 

    David J. Zugheri
    President and Co-Founder
    First Houston Mortgage

    In 1997, David J. Zugheri co-founded First Houston Mortgage, a Houston-based mortgage banking firm currently licensed in 18 states that offers residential mortgage lending services, from the initial application to underwriting and funding.  As the company’s president, Zugheri focuses on managing the daily operations of First Houston and providing strategic direction.  Zugheri’s previous experience includes serving as a loan default specialist for the Resolution Trust Corp., a division of the FDIC, working in the secondary marketing divisions of several mortgage companies and being a member of an advisory council for Countrywide Financial.  His background in various mortgage conduits has earned him numerous opportunities to serve as a guest speaker at various colleges and universities across Texas, at the Houston West Chamber of Commerce and the Houston Association of Realtors. He appears the weekly radio show, “Street Talk Live,” the number one rated financial talk show in Texas.

    Zugheri holds a Bachelor of Arts from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. He holds a Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB) designation and is a MBA Certified Mortgage Technologist (CMT) designee.

    Jason Nadeau

    Jason Nadeau, as the senior vice president of eLender business for Stewart eMortgage Solutions, a division of PropertyInfo Corporation, a Stewart company, is responsible for leading and developing the comprehensive Stewart national eLender business strategy utilizing the company’s eMortgage process. Prior to his position, he most recently served as senior vice president of First American’s Enterprise Technology. Before First American, Nadeau served as president and chief information officer of RealEC® Technologies, a company he helped found. He had previously served as chief operating officer and chief technology officer. Stewart Title Co. has equity ownership in RealEC Technologies.

    Christos Bettios

    Christos is a Senior Product Manager at Fannie Mae Single Family Business, managing the company’s eMortgages activities.  Christos works directly with lenders in their eMortgage Delivery implementations and also manages the development of Fannie Mae's eMortgage Delivery systems. Christos has been part of Fannie Mae’s eMortgage initiatives for six years, has supported many Fannie Mae and partner eMortgage-related projects, and is an active member of the MISMO eMortgage Workgroup. Christos is a frequent speaker on the subject of eMortgages at Mortgage Banker Association events. Christos has 20 years of business consulting and IT experience and has a Masters of Science degree in information technology.
