Barry Shea currently serves as Chair of The Appraisal Foundation’s Appraisal Standards Board, which oversees the development of the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP). He has been in the real estate industry since 1983 and began appraising real estate in 1987.
Shea is a state certified residential appraiser and the senior appraiser of Barry Shea and Associates. He teaches both qualifying education and continuing education programs for appraisers and has developed several appraisal courses and seminars. He holds a Master of Science degree in Business Education from Southern New Hampshire University.
Maggie Hambleton

Vice Chair
Maggie Hambleton is Vice Chair of the Appraisal Standards Board. She also is President of Hambleton, Inc. of Columbus, Ohio, where her practice focuses primarily on residential appraisals, litigation and litigation support with an emphasis on USPAP issues. She is a state certified residential appraiser and holds the SRA designation with the Appraisal Institute. She served on the Ohio Appraiser Board from November 2001 through June 2009.
