Jonathan Cannon is counsel in the Los Angeles office of BuckleySandler LLP. He advises financial institutions, financial services companies, mortgage companies, mortgage servicers, banks, title companies, and others on federal and state regulations, including consumer credit laws and regulations such as RESPA, TILA, FCRA, FDCPA, GLBA, SCRA, SAFE Act, ECOA and HMDA. Cannon also counsels clients on UDAP/UDAAP compliance, fair lending compliance, multi-state licensing issues, state-law compliance programs and alternative mortgage transactions. Cannon received a J.D. from the University of Virginia, an M.A. from Middlebury College and a B.A. from Colby College.

Terri Parnell is a former escrow officer and a graduate of California State University at Long Beach. She has worked at SMS for over 25 years. In that time she has been involved in training, testing and defining several title and settlement software applications. In her current role, Parnell works closely with the SMS Customer Care teams to steer and coordinate compliance activities.
