Kristin Messerli

Kristin Messerli is the Founder and Managing Director of Cultural Outreach Solutions, specializing in helping companies in the mortgage industry better reach and serve multicultural and millennial homebuyers. Her expertise is in multicultural marketing, millennial homeownership and compliance with diversity regulations in the Dodd-Frank Act.
Messerli is a frequent speaker at national conferences in the industry and has written for numerous publications. In addition to her business, she consults with the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP) Consulting Services, and she is the co-author of the MBA’s Dodd-Frank Section 342 Compliance Essentials Toolkit.
She started her career in the mortgage industry and later worked as a social worker both locally and abroad, training providers on culturally competent practice. Prior to starting her own business, she consulted with former McKinsey consultants at the Center for the Creation of Economic Wealth to develop international social enterprises.
Kristin is fluent in Spanish and holds her Masters in Public Administration from the University of Oklahoma.

Christopher Willis leads the firm's Consumer Financial Services Litigation Group. He devotes his practice to assisting financial services institutions facing government investigations and examinations, counseling them on fair lending risk and compliance assessments, and defending them in individual and class action lawsuits brought by consumers and enforcement actions brought by government agencies.
Willis also chairs the firm's Fair Lending Task Force. His clients span the financial services industry and include banks and non-banks, mortgage banking lenders and servicers, debt collectors and buyers, third-party service providers, student lenders and servicers and auto finance companies.
Willis speaks nationally on the subject of consumer financial services law and has been featured in numerous articles.
