Shane Hartzler Director – eMortgage Strategy and Operations Fannie Mae
Shane Hartzler is Fannie Mae’s Director for eMortgage Strategy and Operations. In this role he leads strategy execution in the design, development, and improvement of eMortgage offerings as part of Fannie Mae’s broader digital mortgage efforts. Hartzler partners with customers and industry stakeholders to evaluate market needs and identify opportunities to drive adoption and support deliveries of digital mortgages.
Prior to his current position, Hartzler was a member of one of Fannie Mae’s Customer Delivery Teams where he worked with internal stakeholders and customers, including 3 of Fannie Mae’s top 6 customers, to manage and improve performance and to introduce several new strategic priorities. Before that he was the Director, Product Management and Servicer Operations, for the Department of Treasury's Making Home Affordable Program. (Fannie Mae supported Treasury as the Program Administrator for the MHA program). Hartzler has also held a number of different positions in Fannie Mae's Single Family Mortgage Business focused on transforming business operations and designing and rolling out new strategic initiatives.
Hartzler joined Fannie Mae in 2004. Prior to this, he worked as a business consultant with American Management Systems.

John V. Levonick is special counsel in the Financial Services Practice Group of Pepper Hamilton LLP, resident in the New York office.
Mr. Levonick's practice focuses on consumer financial services regulatory compliance and technology. Specific areas include consumer lending asset origination, servicing, and asset purchase and sale transactions; and assisting creditors, servicers, investors, and service and technology providers with regulatory issues.
Mr. Levonick also supports financial institutions and technology service providers (FinTech and RegTech) with the regulatory compliance implications of emerging technology, such as blockchain technology, artificial intelligence, machine learning, cryptocurrencies and cloud computing.
