Ken Trepeta

Ken Trepeta became President and Executive Director of RESPRO® in July of 2015. Prior to joining RESPRO®, he served as Director of Real Estate Services for the National Association of Realtors® (NAR) and in other roles at NAR for nearly a decade. Trepeta covered the broader real estate industry acting as liaison to senior executives at large real estate firms and their affiliated businesses. He was also NAR’s in house RESPA expert.
Trepeta worked in government affairs for five years prior to joining NAR as a vice president at both JP Morgan Chase and representing the CEOs of the largest financial services firms in the world at the Financial Services Forum where he worked on tax, banking, housing, legal reform and retirement security issues.
In 2001 and 2002 Trepeta was the Deputy Executive Director of the Commission on Affordable Housing and Health Facility Needs for Seniors in the 21st Century. He spent more than five years as counsel to Representative Rick Lazio (R-NY), joining the congressman’s staff in 1995. He handled special projects, the full span of public policy issues and teamed with the congressman’s legislative staff to develop and secure appropriations projects.
Trepeta has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, Political Science and Law and Society from Binghamton University (SUNY Binghamton, 1992). He has a J.D. from Hofstra University School of Law (1995) and is a member of the bar in New York and the District of Columbia.
Ron Haynie

Senior Vice President, Mortgage Finance Policy
Ron Haynie is Senior Vice President of Mortgage Finance Policy at the Independent Community Bankers of America® (ICBA). He provides leadership and guidance for ICBA on all mortgage finance-related legislative and regulatory issues that impact community bankers, including government-sponsored enterprise reform, Federal Home Loan Banks Federal Housing Administration reform and the mortgage rulemakings from the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and other banking regulators.
Additionally, in his role for the ICBA Services Network, Haynie is responsible for providing competitive mortgage lending products, programs and services that enable ICBA’s community bank members to safely grow their mortgage business while protecting their franchise.
Haynie has more than 35 years experience in mortgage lending and banking. He spent 20 years at Freddie Mac in a variety of roles that included sales, mortgage-backed security trading, credit policy and program development. He has also worked in the correspondent and wholesale mortgage business. Haynie has run secondary marketing for a regional bank and, most recently, he ran the mortgage-lending business for a community bank in Idaho.
Leslie Wyatt

Director of Industry Relations
Leslie Wyatt is the Director of Industry Relations at SoftPro. She began her career in the real estate industry 17 years ago and joined SoftPro in 2002. Leslie has held various positions in training, consulting, research and development, compliance and business integrations with her primary focus being on regulatory and compliance issues.
Leslie is a member of the ALTA Implementation Task Force, the Title Action Network Steering Committee, the ALTA Government Affairs Committee, ALTA Membership Committee, ALTA Education Committee and the TLTA Federal Issues Committee. She has represented ALTA at a congressional briefing regarding the CFPB and the upcoming regulatory changes. Leslie is currently working with the CFPB on various projects regarding the TILA-RESPA final rule.
