James K. O'Donnell, Esq.
Equity National Title
Jim's been at the helm for over 20 years. He graduated with a B.A. in English from Rhode Island College and went on to law school at Suffolk University. Before coming on board at Equity, he worked in customer service and sales capacities and spent 8 years in politics and city government.
As president, there are three areas of focus for Jim: business development, risk management and employee engagement. Since there's a terrific leader in charge of running day-to-day operations, Jim is free to be creative and build. He's spent a lot of time with our recently expanded sales team as well as our customers, sharing solutions we've built or creating new ones together. He balances those efforts with staying in tune with compliance and regulatory trends and issues and ensuring our compliance management systems stay ahead of the curve. The most important aspect of Jim's day is investing in our people and their development. The result is a unique culture of engaged employees who truly care for and connect with customers.
Jim sees himself as a servant leader who enriches the lives of those with whom he interacts, and he enhances the work in which he's involved. He loves to solve vexing problems in collaboration with others, and in particular, with customers. Jim enjoys coming alongside smart and creative people who bring different perspectives and ideas from other industries to help stir the imagination and collaboratively solve perplexing issues.
When Jim isn't busy heading up Equity National Title, he enjoys coaching youth baseball and reading.
