Jim Amorin Author Jim Amorin, MAI, SRA, AI-GRS, CDEI, CAE, ASA has been engaged in the real estate appraisal and consulting arena since 1988. Authored the seminal text The Generative Shift: Preparing Appraisers for Artificial Intelligence Models like ChatGPT. He recently developed the new offering from McKissock Learning called “Navigating AI: Transformative Tools for Appraisers” which will debut in 2024. He has developed and reviewed numerous seminars for the Appraisal Institute. Titles include Market Analysis and The Site To Do Business, What Clients Want, Advanced Spreadsheet Modeling for Valuation Applications, Using Spreadsheet Programs in Appraisals, The Lending World in Crisis, Introduction to Valuing Commercial Green Buildings and all three Capstone Programs. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in real estate and urban land development from the University of Texas at Austin. Since beginning his career in 1987, Kevin has held roles across the industry, including positions with Bank of America and CoreLogic. He holds a Bachelor’s in Economics, an MBA, and a Master’s in Economics. In his role at McKissock, Kevin specializes in developing training focused on market analysis, USPAP, and real estate economics.
