Woody Fincham President and Founder Fincham and Associates, Inc. Woody has earned two degrees: a degree in business administration and a degree in Culinary Arts. He is a dual-designated appraiser with the Appraisal Institute, the largest professional real estate appraiser organization in the United States. Woody also holds designations with the ASA, NAR, and RAC. He started his career in Hampton Roads, VA, working for a small fee practice that focused mostly on mortgage-use reports. In 2004, he co-founded and managed what became a very successful residential fee practice with a strong portfolio of lender and non-lender clients, FM & Associates, Inc. He sold his interest in his firm in 2008. He then moved into government assessment work, moving up quickly to executive-level management. He managed large staffs in all aspects of valuation, training, and appeals with the City of Suffolk, VA, and then to the County of Albemarle, VA. Woody was then promoted to work with the Virginia Department of Taxation to review and consult on Tax Credits related to conservation easement valuation. He took a position in the private sector in 2015 with a national appraisal form and soon became the Residential Chief Appraiser, where he managed a staff of appraisers of over 200 members in size. In 2019, he started a new valuation and consulting firm in Charlottesville, VA, with his son, a certified residential appraiser. Their firm specializes in sustainable residential dwellings, solar PV, large residential estates, conservation easements, mansions, complex assignments, litigation support, appraisal review, and some commercial-related work. The firm does some mortgage lending work as Woody is an approved appraiser for the FHA and VA panels. He lives with his family in Charlottesville, VA, but he frequently does work in almost every area of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Woody is also an approved instructor with the Appraisal Institute and an often-requested conference speaker. | Sandra Adomatis President Appraisal Institute Sandra K Adomatis, SRA of Punta Gorda, FL is the 2024 President of the Appraisal Institute. Adomatis is a real estate appraiser and consultant. She is also an author, speaker, instructor and the owner of Adomatis Appraisal Service in Punta Gorda, FL. She wrote Residential Green Valuation Tool, and several seminars and courses for the Appraisal Institute. Sandra is a national spokesperson to state and federal government agencies, energy organizations, REALTOR groups, state coalitions, national and local homebuilder groups and utility companies.
